With a short stack Tom Hall was the first one to go and he was eliminated at the 15th place when he shoved his blind at Dmitry Ivanov who had superior cards and was busted for €58,100. Next to go was Anton Astapau, and shoving a big blind against Adrian Mateos who called. When turned over he was behind Adrian and lost from there.
A minimum of €66,500, was assured to the remaining players, and took sometime before the tournament witnessed another fall. It was the turn of Frenchman Romain Paon this time who was also the chip leader for Day 1b, and he lost to Koichi Nozaki when he snap-called him, thus relegating himself to 13th place.
Next two ousting involved Juan Martin, Mateos and Pastor Christopher Frank and it was nerve wracking. The flop came eventually with full of blanks and Mateos was in the forefront scooping it while Frank and Pastor walked out with €66,500 and €78,400 respectively. Lyndon Basha was the unfortunate bubble boy and he was snapped off by El Asmar at the table.
